As a registered member of the Nez Perce Tribe, Almeta was born on the Nez Perce Reservation, deeply connected to her roots. Her journey took her around the world, living in Canada, Switzerland, France, and Germany, but her heart always belonged to her homeland.

After years of exploring different cultures and landscapes, Almeta returned home to create Babaloo Jewelry. Her designs are a unique blend of traditional Indigenous materials and contemporary styles, each piece a love letter to the places she’s lived and the cultures she’s embraced. With every item crafted, Almeta weaves her personal story, inviting you to share in the beauty and inspiration that drives her work.
